The
Buckerettes- buckerette- (singular noun, feminine variation
of buckaroo)- a cowboy of the vaquero tradition; a nickname
for kids during the 1950’s; an affectionate term for
someone who resonates with the wildness of the American
natural landscape and culture; someone who successfully
stays in the saddle of life’s adventures with humor
and a deep connection to the wide open range; the buckerettes-
a musical trio from Asheville NC who builds their musical
repertoire from all the influences above.
